Mah stuff :p

oki so here we go first one up, one of my personal faves. Writting during a german class on one of my rare inspired moments (it's not how I feel!)

Simply

Deep in the night
I was walking my dog
You could feel tension rise
Yet I simply walked on

I could sense death around me
And my dog felt it too
But I simply walked on
Cause I knew what to do

Tied my dog to a trash can
Crawled on the ledge of a bridge
And then simply leaned back
Trying not to think

I could hear my dog howling
As I felt death approach
All I thought was “Bye Darling”
As you simply lived on

This one I wrote after something happened to someone precious to me, she's like a sister even though I've never met her. Someone else (who's also very dear to me) wrote the second part.

Sororal soothe

Part one

the wet trails of tears on her cheeks
the saltiness on her lips
the burning in her eyes

she was crying all the pain inside
all the hurt she couldn’t cope with
all the feelings that weren’t hers

she had failed how much had she done already
how much more could she do
how much more could she come up with

she couldn't



Part 2

till one day her sister came
to wipe the tears away
softly whispering words of hope

she was trying she felt her sister’s pain
she prays for her every day
she carries the burden her sister can’t cope

she gave love

gently stroking her hair, spoke of ancient stories
her sister came to chase away the sorrowful truth
told her that love and sacrifice was never a myth

she is always there

this one speaks for itself I think


Love

Feeling this is crazy
Yet I love every moment of it
Feeling this is wonderful
Yet something inside resists

It’s confusingly beautiful
It’s hopelessly meant to be
It’s everything I hoped for
With some additional difficulties

It’s you
And it’s me
And that’s all that matters

You
And me
And how we feel

I saw an accident happen a few days ago and it sort of inspired me to write this, I had been thinking about it for a while without a real ending but yeah found one now (note: I'm not sure if the lady died or not)

Passing

People passing side by side
passing one another
People passing side by side
talking to each other
People passing side by side
passing me together
People passing side by side
until all of a sudden

Bang

white sheet covered in red
no more people passing

K so this is a hard one for me to put up but it's also one of the most beautiful. It's for a friend of mine who killed himself almost a year ago, he was like a big bro to me and I still miss him every single day.

For Dave

No more twinkling in your eyes
No more words to say
No more warm hands around mine
To keep me from losing the way

I want to hear your voice again
I want to feel your warmth
Your soothing arms to hold me tight
Whenever there’s a storm

They're lovely poems, Tessa Especially 'For Dave', that's a lovely poem, and I like 'Passing' a lot too.

My favourite is simply but theyre all so amazing .
